After 4 years of organising the Ronde van Exloo, the decision was taken to move a step higher for the 2007 edition. The local track in the centre of Exloo was swapped for a Cycle Race. And not just a cycle race, but a cycle race that has everything that makes cycle racing so much fun. Two long paved runs of 3.6 km and 3.7 km, two ascents - the "Bronneger Bult" at Drouwen and the climb up the Hondsrug in Buinen – and a number of long runs across the open moors, including Boermastreek and Bronnegerveen.
